Cardiff Lib Dem's get online to keep in touch- Goldsworthy and Randerson

11.38.38pm GMT Sun 11th Feb 2007

Alison Goldsworthy spokesperson for Cardiff West Lib Dems and Jenny Randerson Lib Dem AM for Cardiff Central have joined the online networking tool Facebook.

Facebook is an online phenomena, designed to help spread information through social networks. Alison Goldsworthy said:

"For some time now I have been a Facebook member and seen it grow rapidly, with thousands of Cardiff residents now registered. Many of those people are young people who are furthest from the democratic process. As a young candidate I feel passionately about getting as many people involved as possible - and I'm sure Facebook can help us with that."

Jenny Randerson AM said

"With thousands of young people in the constituency, I want this to be a way that many of them can find out more about me, my politics and the work I do on behalf of the whole constituency."
